Major Anti-Drug Operation: Bijbehara Police Seize Four Houses Linked to Narcotics Trade
Anantnag, April 15 — Strengthening the fight against the drug menace in South Kashmir, the Bijbehara Police have officially seized four residential properties belonging to individuals accused in a high-profile narcotics case. The action was executed under the strict provisions of the NDPS Act, targeting assets built through illegal trade.
As per reports reaching Great X Kashmir, the operation is linked to FIR No. 50/2021 registered at Police Station Bijbehara. The investigation revealed that these properties were “proceeds of crime,” meaning they were allegedly acquired using money generated from drug trafficking.
Properties Attached in Tulkhan
The total value of the seized assets is estimated to be over ₹2.2 crore. The specific details of the properties located in the Tulkhan area of Bijbehara are:
Rayees Ahmed Dar (S/o Ghulam Nabi Dar): A premium double-storey house valued at approximately ₹1 Crore.
Mudasir Ahmed Dar (S/o Abdul Rahim Dar): A residential house worth nearly ₹65 Lakh.
Sabzar Ahmad Dar (S/o Mohammad Rajab Dar): A single-storey property estimated at ₹30 Lakh. Zahid Ahmad Dar (S/o Ghulam Hassan Dar): A single-storey house also valued at ₹30 Lakh.

A senior official told Great X Kashmir that this move is part of a broader strategy to dismantle the financial networks of those involved in ruining the lives of the youth. By seizing these physical assets, the authorities aim to send a stern warning that the law will catch up with both the criminals and their illegally earned wealth.
